Original artwork description:

I am fascinated by how nature grows, always searching for light.
Every tree is always pointing towards the sky.
People are like trees: they live and work hard to achieve a goal or a dream, looking up, chasing a light.

This painting was created in the studio in January 2023 and is a reworking of several studies done en plein air.
The work is painted in oil on paper, then applied on 100% linen canvas mounted on a fixed fir frame.
The signature is in the lower right corner.
The painting is protected with a layer of satin acrylic varnish.
The work comes with a thin fir frame that deliberately shows the knots in the wood to better match the natural subject. It is ready to hang.
A Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist is included.
"Up, towards the sky" is the literal translation of the original title in Italian "Su, verso il cielo".
