This oil painting is from the perspective of looking up at the rotunda or circular building which is Seaview Primary School in Swansea.
It is an iconic building in Swansea not only in it's unusual shape but in that it offers the most amazing panoramic views over the vast sweep of Swansea Bay. I loved painting this image as it is very Welsh, terraced houses huddled and hanging together on a hill side or valley is one of the most identifiable images that I associate with living in Wales.
