Original artwork description:

Depiction of a memory of being up early and unbelievably travelling from the Universal Marina at Swanwick to the Folly Inn on the Medina on the Isle of Wight in a 13ft open boat. ( I was the ballast at the front to balance the 15 horse power engine!) Thankfully there was no wind and the Solent was dead calm that day.

Fantastic pub the Folly Inn. It is rumoured that people used to dance on the tables on a Friday night.....probably do not do that anymore, but still great food and it has a jetty.

.uk/the_folly_inn

Deep box canvas painted black on the sides so you may choose not to frame. Sometimes blue is all you need. I have used a subtle reflective pearl paint to capture the light and the painting changes and comes to life under varying lighting conditions. For you painters out there incorporates sparing use of the lovely 'Golden 'Open slow drying Phthalo Blue... expensive but I am worth it!

Corded and ready to hang. Initialled on the front and signed on the back. Supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

Materials used:

acrylic
