In my garden there is day and there is night. The flowers, large and fragrant, never wither. The little creatures that live there have wings and are cut out of paper. They look visitors in the eye and what they think is engraved in the sky.
Man is not allowed. He would crush everything ...
Nature is my home, don't visit it if you don't feel the wind playing with your hair ...
This work is made with mixed media on canvas (extra-fine acrylic colors, modeling paste, Pierre Noire). The background therefore has a material effect, consisting of parts in relief and engravings. The finishing of the edges and their thickness allow the work to be hung without the need for a frame. The surface of the painting has a double layer of Lascaux Transparentlack 3-UV water-based satin finish, which makes it resistant to UV rays and the passage of time ...
The painting will be part of the collective exhibition "Roots. Sublimation Man-Nature" at the OnArt gallery in Florence, from 23 July to 7 August 2021. Opening Friday 23 at 18:00
