Hi,
this work is an experimental semi-abstract oil painting of a tree lined avenue in the rain.
I have used layers of thick oil paint applied in a vigorous impasto to create a lively and moving landscape. Painting in this free way is the most creative way to paint; it allows free rein to the artist to give expression. Where the colours mix at the edge of the colour zones helps to create depth and abstraction.
The work is mounted on a normal canvas and is unframed.
