This piece has multiple layers which are scraped and scratched into revealing the layers below.

Artwork is signed on the back.
A clear gloss varnish has been applied to protect the work from UV light, moisture and dust.
The edges are painted black to allow for frame-free hanging if you choose.

I highly recommend that this xlarge painting be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped in a strong waterproof plastic tube. This not only significantly reduces the shipping cost, but also ensures against damage in transit. The painting can then be re stretched at any reputable framers at the expense of the buyer.
