This image is the beginning of a new series of work, as yet untitled, which departs from an earlier body of work, "Leaves". The differences between the two series' are significant; whereas the "Leaves" series involved intentional and rather extreme soft or selective focus, these newer images involve an absolutely sharp foreground and also involve the application of what I am calling dynamic backgrounds. This means that many of the backgrounds for these newer photos are ever changing, and it becomes a process of choosing which one works the best for the image involved. As always, the prints (13x19") are printed on very high quality paper and are available for purchase in limited and signed editions. I hope you enjoy them!
