Original artwork description:

This is a marine landscape of Jaffa port in Israel. It is a place where I feel calmed, watching the horizon and clean my mind. The beach in Israel is one of the only places where one can relax. I tried to express the sensation of calmness by the bright harmonic tones of blue, and the lack of clear border between water and sky, and also the humid climate by the dense quantity of brushstrokes. In this type of landscape painting I’m clearly influenced by the spirit of the impressionist painters, which tried to capture the exact light and colors of the moment. My process was quite fast, in order to keep this ‘fresh’ sensation.
