Original artwork description:

acrylic colour on handmade thai mulberry paper(kada sa), deckled edge,
8 x 11 in., 20 x 28 cm.
Here is another painting from the time of the field trip to the national park. A group of 4 of us artists did a small expedition to the park back in 2004… equipped with pens, pencils, paints, papers, and plenty insect repellent. This painting is one of a series done back in studio, based on some of my sketches. There ia also a larger version of this painting, but this small one has another charm to it...
I use a traditional mulberry paper handmade in Thailand. It’s a parchment like paper, strong yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the deckled edges which adds to the textural effect.
The close up picture is to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s me with the painting for perspective.
Please note that you can purchase up to 3 paintings of this same size or smaller in 1 order to be included in the same 1 shipping fee.
Packaging for my small paintings like this one is sealed in plastic sleeve, sealed in a padded hard plastic file case, and in an envelope.
