Original artwork description:

Poetics of Emptiness: empty space is the subject of my compositions,
I want to give shape to what is not seen.
Since the beginning of the new century, I started to develop my own form of art carving wood panels and playing between sculpture and painting. Soon I turned my art into an “explosive moment” with a strong connection between the creative action and the artwork. This process is a result of a material destruction obtained through subtraction: it allows the work to take on symbolic and metaphorical meanings. Lights and shadows play an essential role since they can change the artwork form completely in its plastic dimension; a new retationship between art, architecture and space, with a particular attention to the empty space .
