This untitled work is part of a small-works series, and it’s also the product of a creative process that I’ve been working through in my art journaling practice; it involves a spontaneous state of mind, allowing and welcoming the mistake while embracing it to learn how to solve a problem creatively.

Throughout my art-making process I enjoy creating textured surfaces with different kinds of tools such as stiff brushes and knives; I like to use diverse mediums including molding paste, wax pastels, and paper scraps.
