Untitled 4 is a memory as so many are of fleeting moments in time. Having a horizontal composition and stripped layers of atmosphere, there should be a feeling of pause that is felt when gazing at the painting.
Inspired by the light in Aruba and the subtle, gentle colors before sunset it brings calm to the viewer and allows the mind to rest. Pink and blue with a background of green- yellow, are colors that set a joyful mood.
Stripped layers remind me of my own Mark Rothko composition. Mine have the texture and energy unique to my rollerblade painting process.
