Artwork description:

This screen print was created during my first years in London. I was inspired by the vibrant and dynamic life style of the large city. As I just started to use Illustrator to make projects for the screen prints, my approach to it was playful and intuitive.

The composition consists of geometric shapes and patterns. Distorted red and blue rectangles and trapezes placed on a delicate creamy background pull in different directions. This gives the feeling of space and rhythm. Delicate, black patterns juxtapose strong and irregular, orange ornament. I was trying to find the balance between saturated, bold colors and more subtle and unobtrusive ones to create sense of harmony, but also enhanced it with energy, vitality and resilience.

It is hand pulled limited edition screen print. Printed with acrylic paints on Southbank Smooth paper. I used six different, specially mixed colors. The print is signed in the front.
For shipment will be carefully packaged and rolled in a tube.
It looks best while framed.
