Hi, this is an experimental work inspired by the nighttime urban landscape. It may be a precursor to a larger painting. I am attempting to go in a more abstract and expressive direction. I particularly enjoyed varying the 'focus' of the image from sharp to blurry in different parts of the image.
This is part of an attempt to create a set of modern images in oil paints.
