Original artwork description:

One of a series of paintings from earlier this year when I was trying some new techniques etc. This is also another of my "Roadside America" series of paintings that I go back to every so often. As so often in my work I was trying to achieve the lighting of a certain time of the day, in this case dusk when the sun has gone below the horizon and is just lighting the clouds in the upper sky. A friend commented that this is one of my pictures where you get the feeling that something is just about to happen...
