Original artwork description:
A monotype print of an unknown slave from the American archives. The print was created through the process of layering monoprint colour plates, pressing on top of each printed image through an etching press, using primary colours yellow, red and blue pressed onto watercolour paper.
This forms part of my #lostgeneration series and highlights the many forgotten and lost generations throughout history.
Materials used:
Oil based printing ink on watercolour paper.
