I always had admiration for horses, they are animals with sublime grace and beauty. In this painting I wanted to transcend the mere representation of an ordinary horse, so I decided to explore the fantastic aspect that throughout history humanity has attributed to this animal. I have given supreme importance to lighting to complement the mystical aspect that surrounds the figure of the unicorn.
