This multicolour screen print is a view of the Underfall Boatyard in Bristol harbour.
As well as being a depiction of a place, interesting both for its architecture and atmosphere, l want in this image to give the viewer a sense of a pictorial journey through the space beginning with the ground, and leading towards the openness of the sky.
In this print the feeling of stillness is broken by the flight of a flock of pigeons, whose forms are repeated in their shadows in the foreground.
This is another in an ongoing series of sea related images that have clouds as their main focus. Clouds are ethereal forms; in my prints they represent the world that lies beyond my own concerns.
This is a six colour screenprint on Fabriano Rosaspina paper.
