Original artwork description:

The blade of the spade and the outdoor boots represent the over-bearing spectre of DIY. Art somehow reduced to worn-out brushes and a canvas turned to the wall. This was from 2008 and since then I've sorted my life out a bit better.

It's become something of a game, another painting (oh, there are a few!) rejected by the Westward Ho! & Bideford Art Society; and as far as I can see, there's no nude in it either.

In nice hardwood frame.

Materials used:

Spectrum oil paint, knives, sticks, paste medium.
