The south of Ukraine is my little homeland. My mother was born and raised here. These are amazing steppes that overlook the Black Sea. These are incredible fields of sunflowers and wheat, and this is a vast sky. A few years ago I came there and walked through these fields. It breathes easily and deeply here. I felt like a lark, or one of these tall sunflowers. This is my land, which I love with all my cells. My cradle and place of strength.
