An original watercolour painting that features a protective mother figure holding something precious to her. Her posture and even her hair acts as a protective shield. I used grains of salt in wet watercolour paint in parts of her hair as a technique that draws the paint away from the paper and leaves gorgeous patterns behind.
It has been painted onto thick watercolour paper (300gsm), is A3 size (11.69" x 16.53")(297mm x 420mm), acid free, and is NOT (Cold Pressed) medium textured surface.
It has been signed and dated on the front and will be shipped in a clear plastic sleeve and a board-backed envelope marked with 'Please Do Not Bend'
