Days are shorter; night breezes crisper. Fall is in the air. But not too long ago, the summer days stretched out before us, under a seemingly endless canopy of sky in the countryside summer time. It was a great pleasure capturing this scene in the beautiful outdoors, via plein air painting, and putting on the final brush strokes in my studio.
Painted lovingly with palette knife and brush work; staying true to my walnut oil-based paints to catch the rich colors of summer in the country.
