When I hit 40 years old, it didn't feel like I was more than 20. Now I am turning 50, and I feel like I am finally in my 30's! I am one that relishes the years going by. Life is only getting better, my love is growing stronger, my work shows the years I have put into it. However, we all struggle with the immortality bug...or, we fear death. I for one live for the day and don't think to much about my final days, but make sure that my present is my present and I am in the moment I am supposed to be.
A child does not ponder such things...we must always remain childlike in that endeavor.
