Oil, natural resin and mineral pigments on primed mdf wood board.
The dark amber-coloured resin layer being thick and pigmented the figure feels as if submerged within it , surrounded by the golden dust. I love this effect.
Beacause the surface is reflexive and translucent at the same time the painting responds to light a lot and colour/tone can vary slightly depending on your particular setting. The surface lives and glows differently depending on light changes around it.
Work comes professionally framed in a black wooden floatframe and ready to hang.
