Original artwork description:

This painting is based on a theme that I have used several times before: that of a down-on-his-luck blues musician. The mostly black and white color scheme adds to the dismal atmosphere.
UNAPPRECIATED is a one of a kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil archival grade mylar. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors.
I only sell original work so there will only be one original.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. In this painting, the background has been digitally reproduced and laminated to the 4 mil archival grade mylar and then the portrait and other items were painted over the background.

This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a one inch border all around, and a dark grey 1.5” wide painted border. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
