With this piece I was interested in the movement of the subject's hair and the light creates different variants of colour. Amongst the frantic movement the subject is passive and very thoughtful.
With most of my work, I like to leave quite a lot of vacant space in order to bring focus to the subject. There is quite a lot of pencil detail this piece.
