A mixed media Scottish landscape painting of a small traditional stone cottage or stone bothy with a tin roof near Ullapool in the highlands of Scotland. Using bold colours of acrylic paint and a collaged photography of a lonely highland bothy or croft house and trees I have tried to convey the atmosphere of the this moorland cottage in late autumn, with bright shafts of dramatic light on the heather.
A picturesque pretty rural countryside architectural view of the buildings of the British Isles.
This is an early experimental piece of semi abstract modern contemporary impressionist mixed media artwork incorporating my photography and unique textural acrylic paint effects.
Painted in bright multicoloured hues of purple, green, and red orange and blue,

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a square format 18 3/4" x 18 3/4" (48 x 48cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white limewashed wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
