The medium of collage turned out to be a quick way for me to articulate thoughts.
To go beyond the silence that is the result of a traumatic experience. The mind cannot fathom all the horror of the history that is happening now and art gives an opportunity to express what cannot be verbalized.

The collage is made on cardboard. Clippings from a local Turkish magazine and real photo from Ukraine, this is how peaceful cities in Ukraine look now.

This artwork is about the fact that you can change the location, but you still carry your trauma and experiences with you.
