Christmas is a bright and good holiday celebrated in a cozy family circle. On Holy Eve, 12 dishes are traditionally prepared, one of which is a rich and aromatic uzvar. Our ancestors considered berries and fruits a symbol of fertility and health.
Uzvar is the main Christmas drink, which is not only necessarily served to the table, but also used to prepare kuti. A uzvar is prepared based on dried fruits with the addition of honey, and after infusion it turns out to be incredibly fragrant and tasty and, most importantly, useful for health.
