Original artwork description:

This abstracted view of partially destroyed apartment blocks is my homage to the courage of the Ukrainian people who have stood up to the Russian invasion and those that have had to flee their homes due to Russian shelling. I will send my share of sales to the Disasters Emergency Committee for their humanitarian work in Ukraine. The apartment blocks are deliberately shaped more like missiles or artillery shells than Ukrainian apartment blocks. There are 10 blocks, like two hands reaching into the blue sky. It is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint applied with brushes on top of contoured shapes made with silicon-tipped brushes.
