Original artwork description:

An acrylic painting depicting Uig bay on the Isle of Skye at dusk.
I have seen this view depicted many times but always from during daylight hours.
I feel some of the most dramatic light patterns can be experienced just before sundown where the light hits the water on the horizon for the last time before darkness sets in.
I have tried to depict the rich dramatic light here by using a limited palate of blues greys and even bronze.
This painting is painted on board ready for framing.
