Now I miss home so much, my native Ukraine. Life seems to be on pause. I wanted to express these feelings on canvas.
That is why the image of the stork was born. That flew away, but will return.
In this picture, storks are saying goodbye to their homeland. Usually, storks go on their journey to warm regions in August in order to have time to fly thousands of kilometers before the onset of cold weather. That is why the name of the picture is "August Sun".
It seems to be both big and bright, but it does not warm at all. Because in the heart is the day when the war began. February 24.

There are many hidden meanings in this work, everyone will see something different in it. A viburnum branch symbolizes the native land. A house in which the light does not shine. Snow in August, and the river as a symbol of the fact that everything passes.
