Tyto is a genus of birds consisting of true barn owls, grass owls and masked owls that collectively make up all the species within the subfamily Tytoninae of the barn owl family.
This screenprint evolved from a drawing of a barn owl inspired by seeing the Paolozzi concrete sculpture 'Seagull and Fish' in an exhibition.
This owl is pictured still, silent, staring out of the picture, at what we wonder? This owl, ever mysterious.

The edition is variable, playing with different colour combinations.
Printed in acrylic screenprinting ink on Canaletto HP 300gsm.
3 colour variable limited edition of 35.
