Large bold type spray painted with Montana colours on a collage of encyclopaedia pages glued onto heavy stock. Background colour splashes & drips are acrylic.
Typography - the study of letters and fonts are one of the main areas in graphic art. After finishing school in 1994 I did a 2 year diploma course in Graphic Design. Back then we did 80% by hand and 20% on computer. It was called DTP (Desktop Publishing). Since then I have been working in the commercial Design & Advertising industry. Almost two decades of experience has led me here... Finally I feel the need to create my own typography art.
Medium used: spray-paint, acrylic, pencil, marker, hand cut stencils, encyclopedia pages.
