An oil painting of two friends, deep in conversation, in the shade of Brynmill Coffee House, enjoying the relative quiet of a lazy August afternoon.
The title refers to both the intimacy of their chat and to you the viewer, a gentle instruction to not encroach on their privacy.
I have painted this in a vibrancy, urgent style, to catch this fleeting intimacy and to also catch the brilliant contrast of the sunlight, pouring through the window, with the hard cool, darkness of the inside chairs, tables and shadows.
