The day was very hot, with midday sun and rapidly shortening shadows. I was inspired by the rhythm of these kayaks at my favorite sports sailing station in the park close to home. The dynamic plastic dancing palm creates a contrast with the straight lines of the boats.
This work was based on my sketches from nature. I like to draw from nature when everything around me is so alive. At this time, I feel that my workshop is everywhere and it has no walls.
