Original artwork description:

I was keen on painting movement and thought that attending some dancers’ rehearsals would be a good opportunity. It took some effort to figure out how to do it since it was so different from my habitual painting process. I ended up so tired and grateful.

I painted at the theatre from life using graphite on paper. I then used oil colors to paint from memory according to what the two dancers were wearing.
