Artwork description:

This artwork is part of the series 'Transcendence' that are gateways to higher dimensions. It uses architecture with geometry and transcends into mythical places that have intrigued men for ages. Places beyond our realm of life, of inner peace and bliss, of secrets and buried treasures that unfold with the prismatic union of shapes and colors.
The intricately carved arch is the point of ingress and gives a glimpse of what lies beyond. The design sets the stage for light and shadow to weave a dramatic scene that entices the viewer to step closer and be teleported to mesmerizing dimensions
.
The artwork is titled 'Keep an Eye Open', an apt idiom leaving the meaning open to interpretation. It is made with 54 layers of paper and has a palette of 32 vivid colors. It will be an exquisite gem for your personal space and be cherished for a long time.

THE MAKING:
A thorough study of forms is done before creating an intricate framework that seamlessly fuses architecture and geometry. The design is broken down into levels and filled with a complementing color palette. Placing the right color on the right level highlights certain elements that create hypnotizing patterns.
An accurate cutting is done using a mix of machine and hand cuts for getting the best of both worlds. The final assembly turns the 2D design into a 3D structure under the play of light and shadow. A high level of precision is required as small errors lead to entire redoes.
