Artwork description:

Traditional still life given an extremely contemporary twist.
Hand-pulled original etching print on 300gsm Hahnemühle velvet surface paper by contemporary British artist Mark Lloyd Williams (Google me !)

FRAMED AND READY TO HANG. The print is mounted on soft white bevel-cut conservation grade mountboard and in a very solidly hand made solid pine frame. I can supply this either in black or natural pine, both with a lovely waxed finish. Glazed with optical grade acrylic "glass" as preferred by most museums due to it's superior protection and safety factors.

Printed from a metal printing plate using a hand-cranked etching press. This medieval process gives prints which have a beautiful subtlety, each is slightly different as the printing plate is laboriously inked by hand. Making the printing plate itself involves a huge amount of meticulous work.
Edition of 50, each signed and numbered in pencil in the margin

Materials used:

paper, etching ink, linseed oil
