Original artwork description:

Still life oil study of two pears. I wanted this painting to be really simple, just focusing on the lovely rustic quality of the pears, complimented by a simple duck egg blue background. I think this contemporary still life would be ideally suited to a kitchen.

This forms one of a series of miniatures that I have been working on recently. Please check out the other fruit portraits too!

Materials used:

6mm triple primed mdf
