Original artwork description:

Painted on-site at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum with oil over casein paint on canvas. Features two maple trees with autumn leaves in shades of deep orange, light orange, salmon pink, and green. The branches of the two trees cluster together, creating a wide canopy. The trees are accented by shrubs to either side with dark and light green leaves, and bright green grass. Watery effects in the grass and sky were created with water-base casein paint, then glazed over with oil. The texture of the foliage is enhanced by thick palette knife painting. The painting is unframed with painted sides on a 1"thick stretches canvas. It has a wire on the back and is ready to hang. A knockout piece for lovers of warm autumn colors!
