I admire birds and this bird painting highlights their friendship either realistically or from my imagination. They are set in a forest of lightly colored flowers along with an abstracted butterfly. The butterfly is created out of my imagination, not a photo realistic butterfly, but a highly designed one using black ink. This contrast between reality and fiction adds a more dramatic and contemporary feeling to the art painting. I love the softness of the flowers and the beautifully designed birds and the unexpected abstract buttefrly.
The technique of combining the looseness of acrylic with the hard outlines of the black ink designs is a technique just used only by me in my artistic expression.
Size: inside 27”H x21”W with a mat board of 3” frame not included
