Parrots are very funny birds. They, like dogs, can rejoice and grieve, yearn, play, amuse and be cunning. It was these qualities that attracted people to parrots.
These Macaws are characterized by their unmistakable shape and colors which makes them very striking and attractive. His name Ara in Tupi language means bird or macaw.

This work is made with oil paint on canvas. The canvas is covered with colorless gesso to be able to appreciate the pure canvas. This way the figures of the guacamallos stand out even more.
