A soft and delicate portrait of an African elephant walking alone at a time when day meets the night. Watercolour is a transparent medium and I have used this quality to its fullest in this painting.The artwork is almost surreal in nature with Payne's Gray dominating the space.Only hints of yellow and a few specks of bright blue break the monotony of falling darkness; bringing out the beauty and grace of this amazing animal.
It has been painted using best quality watercolours and a beautifully textured watercolour paper.
