This is an original oil painting, complete with frame, of the Père Lachaise Cemetery, found in the 20th district of Paris.
The canvas is 30cm by 40cm (approximately 16in by 12in) attached to board, and comes with a solid antique wooden frame, golden in colour. Overall size with frame is approximately 52cm by 42cm (20.5in by 16.5in).
The canvas was carefully sealed, primed and prepared, and the painting completed with Rembrandt and Old Holland paints.
Materials used:
oil paints (Rembrandt, W&N, Old Holland), Brushes (hogs hair, sable)
