About Twilight Hunter
Twilight Hunter was inspired by a chance sighting of a silent and ghostly figure which glided graciously over my back garden late one summer’s evening, hunting for its prey, a sight I will never forget… a wild barn owl.
I was able to produce such a detailed piece with regular visits to a bird of prey rescue facility where I met Pepper the resident Barn Owl. Meeting Pepper allowed me to study, document and understand the character and movement of barn owls, much deeper than ever before. For me this was valuable knowledge, for not only creating such an intimate piece, but for future work she has inspired. Thank you, Pepper!”
