Hi, I hope you're having a nice Christmas.
This painting is inspired by the journey I make from Winchester to home. I have tried to capture the bleak beauty and drama of the weather and landscape.
I have used sombre tones of greens, blues and greys and, in contrast, some warm yellow tones for the headlights in the oncoming traffic - for me, the lights represent points of civilisation in the bleak, surrounding wilderness.
