This extraordinary view was painted last spring in Tuscany. I passioned of Italy and feel a lot of inspiration each time I have a pleasure to visit it. We lived in a house with an amazing garden and panoramic sea view, so I was able to make some amount of paintings literally in a few steps of the home. That view with a branch of an almond tree and sea view on the background reminded me of a Japanese wooden etching Ukiyoe. So, in my work, I tried to preserve some decorative effect and saturated colors as well. I especially like the olive trees which are viewed on the bottom. The wide stripe of the sea had an exceptionally bright azure color that became the color center of the painting.
