South of Siena, in Tuscany, there is a large area of rolling hills, bleak, that follow one after the other like waves of the sea.
I wanted to recreate this fluctuating movement through dense brushstrokes of earthy colors like ocher, sienna burne, carmine red. Here and there small patches of ultramarine capture the attention and lead the eye to the horizon.
