This beautiful red villa sits above the street, surrounded by trees and greenery. The hot air is thick with the scent of roses and bougainvillea, with bay and lilac. The house is mysterious, partially hidden, its walls a dark pink colour. The garden wall seems older, possibly Roman in parts. There are few sounds other than the constant song of crickets.
This striking work is rich in realism and colour, a perfect gift, a wonderful collection starter.
The canvas is 0.4 inches deep and there it can hang without a frame if wished.
